March 13, 2024 – Once again, President Biden’s 2025 budget proposes to let $36.8 billion per year in IIJA funding for transportation expire after 2026, and claims $158 billion in deficit reduction over 10 years from ending this funding, which was assumed to continue in the budget “baseline.”
