Highway Construction Costs Stayed Stable in Final Quarter of 2025

The Federal Highway Administration recently updated its estimate of changes in highway construction costs, showing that such costs decreased by 2.2 percent in the October-December 2025 quarter (based on the prior quarter), but on a seasonally adjusted basis, costs increased by 1.2 percent.
