October 8, 2015 – Earlier today, the Senate fell eleven votes short of breaking a Democratic filibuster of a motion to take up the fiscal year 2016 Energy and Water Development appropriations bill (H.R. 2028). The vote was 49 yeas to 47 nays, with 60 “yea” votes required to break a filibuster and limit debate.
October 8, 2015 – In response to an increasing number of reported sightings of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS, or drones) near airports or in regulated airspace, the House Transportation and Infrastructure (T&I) subcommittee on Aviation held a hearing on “Ensuring Aviation Safety in an Era of Unmanned Aircraft Systems.” I
Our founder, William P. Eno, first penned the Rules of the Road in the early 1900s. These rules were adopted by New York City in 1909 and became the world’s first city traffic plan. Fast-forward almost 100 years later to 2015 and we have cars that can drive themselves, mega cities that are home to billions of people, and ever-evolving modes of transportation.

Earlier this month, Eno President Joshua Schank announced the end of his time at the Eno Center for Transportation. Dr. Schank has accepted a position with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. In his new role, he will serve as head of L.A. Metro’s newly created Office of Extraordinary Innovation.
