How State Highway Funding Totals Are Calculated Under the FAST Act

October 2, 2019 – This article explains precisely how the FAST Act of 2015 ties each state’s annual federal-aid highway funding total to the last year of the SAFETEA-LU Act (fiscal 2009), which in turn relied on real-world apportionment factors as of the year 2007, and the distribution of earmarked projects by well-placed members of Congress in the summer of 2005.

September 27, 2019 – Eno is conducting a survey of operators asking them details of their experience applying for waivers under Part 107 and exemptions under the old Sections 333 or new 44807. The survey focuses on how the waiver/exemption process impacts the bottom line of a UAS business, the quality of communication between the FAA and applicant, and how special provisions at the end of the process impact a company’s business model.
