However, the same physical characteristics that make multicopter drones appealing, such as their small size and associated high/irregular blade speeds, also contribute to their distinctive buzzing sound—which, as it turns out, is often annoying.

Some Transit Agencies, Airports Still Slow to Spend Emergency COVID Money

September 11, 2020 – Mass transit agencies across the country spent $2.3 billion of their CARES Act coronavirus funding in July, while airports spent $652 million of theirs, according to new reporting from the Office of Management and Budget. That still left $16.7 billion of the $25 billion in CARES Act transit aid and $8.4 billion of the $10 billion in CARES airport aid unspent as of July 31.

September 11, 2020 – Next week marks the launch of the annual week of infrastructure education and advocacy events (don’t call it Infrastructure Week). This year’s United for Infrastructure program focuses on how the United States should “rebuild better” as we slowly emerge from our public health and economic crises.
