Adonica J. Georges, a Program Assistant intern, Professional Development Programs at Eno Center for Transportation, is a multifaceted creative with a keen interest in marketing, public relations, social media analytics, graphic design, and videography. While progressing through her undergraduate studies, she discovered and embraced the importance of research—capturing, interpreting and leveraging data. In her senior year Adonica achieved the position of Research Assistant. She resonated with a Mass Communication professor and begun conversations on an interest she was quite passionate about: creating innovative methods to understand the impact of AI on female social media users. The research experience and ability to learn from her professor directly not only honed her analytical skills but also opened—expanded—her understanding on the intersection between technology and communication.
Adonica holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Towson University, with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations. Currently, she is pursuing an Accelerated Graduate Certification in User Experience (UX) at the same institution. Adonica intends to use her academic background and training, dedication to continual learning, and real-world application through opportunities such as the Eno internship program to strengthen her career, graduate, and creative pursuits.
