June 28, 2022 – The Texas Supreme Court on June 24 ruled, in a 5 to 3 opinion, that the private Texas Central high-speed rail project from Dallas to Houston can use eminent domain power to take property for right-of-way where the owner is unwilling to sell.
June 23, 2022 – The House Appropriations Committee has released a draft bill that increases the regular budget for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ water resources program by $546 million over the amount enacted in 2022.
