April 5, 2024 – While President Biden was set to visit the site of the Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore today, it is becoming apparent that Congress can wait for Maryland officials to make key decisions before providing bridge replacement funding.

April 5, 2024 – In his March 1825 inaugural address, President John Quincy Adams argued for an expansive use of federal resources, saying that the exercise of powers “is a duty as sacred and indispensable as the usurpation of powers not granted is criminal and odious.”

Focusing on Safer Roads and Safer Speeds
March 28, 2024 – After a decade of stalling progress, traffic fatalities surged during the COVID-19 pandemic, culminating in 42,795 lives lost in 2022, with a particular spike in incidents involving speeding, impaired driving, and pedestrian fatalities. This alarming trend underscores the need for innovative approaches to transportation safety, including the National Roadway Safety Strategy and Complete Streets policies. It’s a critical shift towards prioritizing the safety and well-being of all road users in the United States.
If not wormholes and tesseracts, what is the future of transportation?
March 29, 2024 – How will tomorrow’s leaders solve for our most pressing transportation problems? According to my son’s third grade class, it will be with visionary solutions that are safe, cost effective and move people seamlessly, without congestion.
