April 7, 2017 – U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao on April 6 approved the release of $768.2 million for emergency repair work to roads and bridges damaged by storms or catastrophic events in 40 states through the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Emergency Relief (ER) program.
