May 17, 2019 – Yesterday, the U.S. Senate confirmed Deputy Transportation Secretary Jeffrey Rosen to be Deputy Attorney General of the United States. The vote was 52 to 45 and was completely party-line.

May 17, 2019 – Yesterday, the Federal Railroad Administration formally notified the California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) that FRA is canceling an $929 million grant agreement signed by the Obama Administration eight years ago and will not be giving CHSRA the money.
