November 15, 2019 – The Eno Center for Transportation will now host the web archives of the Surface Transportation Policy Project, a groundbreaking coalition of interest groups which had a major impact on transforming federal surface transportation policies.
November 15, 2019 – The Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee held a drama-free markup on November 13 and approved 20 bills by voice vote, including a NASA reauthorization and a bill extending federal authority to make RRIF railroad loans for transit-oriented development purposes. The panel also approved nominees for maritime and transportation safety panels and the Amtrak Board of Directors.

November 8, 2019 – New data released last week by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics estimated that the number of Americans employed in the transportation-related labor force grew to 14.508 million in 2018, an increase of 362 thousand (+2.6 percent) over 2017.

November 8, 2019 – On Election Day, voters across 20 states decided over 100 transportation ballot measures, approving over $7 billion in new funding in addition to the $1 billion approved in elections earlier this year.
November 8, 2019 – Eno recently completed a report for the Transportation Research Board to synthesize the current state of practice associated with the implementation of transportation workforce strategies at state departments of transportation (DOTs) and associated Local Technical Assistance Programs (LTAPs).
