Amtrak Reports Smaller Losses, Higher Ridership in FY 2025

December 5, 2025 – Amtrak posted an overall operating loss of $1.76 billion, which was $49 million less than the $1.81 billion loss it had shown for fiscal 2024. But ridership and per-passenger profits were both improved.
