The House and Senate are scheduled to be in recess this week, and no committee meetings are scheduled.

Beyond that, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee may mark up surface transportation reauthorization the week of May 11, but that could easily slip to later weeks or months.

And the House Transportation-HUD Appropriations Subcommittee is scheduled to mark up its FY 2027 bill on May 21, which means Secretary Duffy, presumably, has to testify on the budget sometime before that.
