Intercity buses connect cities, towns, and rural communities, providing affordable transportation for millions of Americans. Although they carry more passengers than Amtrak, intercity buses receive far less public attention. The industry is now evolving as private operators rethink their services and business models, and governments reassess their support for routes and stations. At the same time, intercity bus operators face challenges posed by rising costs, changing travel patterns, and intensifying competition.
What is happening in the intercity bus industry today, and what does the future hold? This Eno webinar brings together experts from the bus industry, state government, and academia to examine current trends and challenges, as well as opportunities for expanding service, attracting passengers, improving the travel experience, and shaping the industry’s future.
