She has overseen complex grant deliverables, led high-profile events, and fostered partnerships with embassies, international organizations, and government agencies. Originally from the Bay Area, Niat holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Arts in African Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, salsa dancing and photography.
