An experienced development professional with over 16 years of experience in nonprofit marketing and development, Karen combines practical experience with knowledge of the trends and research in philanthropy. In her current role as Eno’s Chief Development Officer, Karen plans, manages and implements fundraising projects, campaigns and appeals; manages and identifies opportunities for beneficial partnerships/collaborations; work with Eno’s Board of Directors; helps oversee organization of special events, such as Eno’s annual fundraising dinner; and works with Communications Manager to develop, implement, and maintain marketing efforts targeting campaign participants.

Prior to joining Eno, Karen began her career in fundraising and development at a local domestic violence shelter. Since then, she has continued to work in the fundraising and development field, working at local, regional, statewide, and national organizations.  From 2008 to 2010, she served as a Community and Business Development Volunteer in Albania with the Peace Corps. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Multinational Business in 2001 and recently completed her Master’s in Nonprofit Management at North Park University. She also holds certifications in Nonprofit Marketing Management, Leadership, Fundraising Management, Nonprofit Governance, and Organizational Development.
