Molly Wilkinson was named vice president – Regulatory Affairs in January 2018. She oversees American’s regulatory affairs practice and is based in the airline’s Washington office.
Prior to joining American, Molly was executive director of the Electronic Payments Coalition (EPC) which capped a seven year career in financial services beginning as Senior Vice President of Regulatory Policy for Regions Financial Services Bank.
Before her work in the private sector, she had a distinguished record of service in a variety of senior agency roles and on Capitol Hill, where she served as Republican General Counsel for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee. She also served in the George W. Bush Administration from 2003-2009 including service at U.S. Department of Defense with close to a year in Iraq, senior advisor roles at U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. General Services Administration, and finishing as Chief of Staff at U.S. Small Business Administration.
Molly earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Holy Cross and Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in Albany, New York.
