Duffy Sends Administration Reauthorization Priority List to Senate

On Wednesday July 22nd, USDOT Secretary Sean Duffy sent a letter to Senate committee leadership in charge of surface transportation reauthorization outlining the department’s desired priorities for the legislation.

The House has approved a stopgap CR to December 4 without extending IIJA advance appropriations. But the House CR would cause several USDOT programs to run out of money prior to the bill's end date.
