Although advances in technology are giving people more options to move around than ever before, vulnerable residents, many of whom already face mobility barriers, find it difficult to access these services because they require a smartphone and bank account. Like other cities across the country, the City of Minneapolis knows it has to address the impact of fast-changing mobility technology. Danielle Elkins and Alexander Kado from the City of Minneapolis will share their team’s work to understand and address these gaps by developing new low-income programs for shared mobility.
