This presentation will explore key enabling technologies, trends and adoption drivers for autonomous vehicles (AVs) and electric vehicles (EVs). AVs require the confluence of new technologies like sensor fusion, artificial intelligence, connectivity and security, in addition to a supportive policy, certification and regulatory environment.
Communities constantly evolve and change in response to social, political, economic, technological and environmental forces. Effectively planning for this change in transportation requires the cultivation of a participatory and informed decision-making process that regularly considers what is likely to happen, what could happen and what the community wants to happen in the future.
In order to ensure the continued safety and viability of the U.S. aviation industry reform is needed. Eno’s latest report highlights the issues with the current certification procedures and recommends key policy reforms. Join the authors for a discussion of their findings on Monday, June 19.
