FHWA Gives Out First Trucks-in-Ports Emissions Reduction Grants
April 26, 2024 – The Federal Highway Administration this week announced $148 million in grant selectees for the first two rounds of funding for the new Reduction of Truck Emissions at Port Facilities Grant Program created by section 11402 of the 2021 IIJA infrastructure law.
FAA Reauthorization Compromise Possibly On Tap for Next Week
April 26, 2024 – Before leaving town for a delayed recess, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) this week arranged for the Senate to take up a possible compromise version of a five-year aviation policy reauthorization bill as soon as next Wednesday (May 1).

April 24, 2024 – Representative Donald Payne Jr. (D-Newark, NJ) died on April 24 from a heart attack he suffered on April 6.
