America’s transportation system is large and complex. An amazing array of actors are responsible for moving people and goods around the world, from coast-to-coast, or within a region. This means there are countless approaches that are impossible to generalize or observe only from inside the Beltway.
The Washington Auto Show® will present MobilityTalksInternational® —a pre-show symposium that will address government regulatory best practices in the field of new mobility, while allowing innovation to flourish – on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and Wednesday, Jan. 25.
November 4, 2016 – A startup company led by a renowned hacker canceled plans to sell aftermarket driver assistance devices after receiving a “slow down” letter from NHTSA.
Eno has compiled a list of the states that have measures up for vote on Election Day and will continue updating this database. Americans in nearly half the 50 states will vote on hundreds of measures and initiatives that would support a range of transportation investments in their cities, regions and communities. By our count, there is over $450 billion at stake.
Arguably the most important transportation measure to go before voters is in metropolitan Detroit. Residents there will decide on an ambitious $4.6 billion plan to build out a rail and bus transit system for the largest American region without one.

October 26, 2016 – The Eno Center for Transportation has compiled a database of 375 state and local ballot initiatives in 26 states relating to transportation (the vast majority of which involve funding) that are up for a vote on Election Day. Together, the ballot questions could raise a quarter-billion dollars for transportation infrastructure.
