October 11, 2018 – Weeks after a similar hearing on the House side, the Senate Subcommittee on Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries & the Coast Guard held a hearing Thursday examining the Coast Guard’s recapitalization efforts.
October 10, 2018 – September marked the end of another successful Eno/MAX program. Throughout 2018, a cohort of 48 students participated in the Eno/MAX (Multi-Agency Exchange) Program to share best practices, build their professional network, and enhance their leadership skills.

October 12, 2018 – Yesterday, the U.S. Senate finished its pre-election business with the typical flurry of activity, passing 17 bills and resolutions (mostly low-profile stuff) and confirming 35 civilian nominations before adjourning to return November 13.
October 8, 2018 – The start of the fiscal year gives us a chance to look at the long-term cost of the financial obligations of the Highway Trust Fund and to separate them into the cost of old commitments versus new commitments.
