April 16, 2021 – A Senate hearing on April 14 wound up focusing on what needs to happen next in order to begin the transition from a system that finances surface transportation by taxing motor fuels to a system that is funded by taxing miles driven.

April 15, 2021 – This week, Eno released three evaluation reports that aim to understand how the pilots performed during their first year of service. These reports include an evaluation of the MOD pilot in the Los Angeles region, the evaluation of the MOD pilot in the Puget Sound region, and a summary document of the lessons learned and recommendations for other agencies.

April 9, 2021 – Earlier this week, the nonpartisan Senate Parliamentarian told Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) that a loophole in the Budget Act would allow the Senate to pass at least one more fiscal 2021 budget resolution, triggering at least one more round of budget reconciliation legislation, before Congress has to move on to fiscal 2022.
