January 6, 2023 – This week, the Transportation Research Board released the “Practitioner’s Guide to Bus Operator Workforce Management” a report that will help transit agencies better assess, plan, and implement their operator workforce management programs. The guide was written by the Eno Center for Transportation along with the International Transportation Learning Center, and Huber and Associates, Inc.

DOT Selects $1.2 Billion in Megaproject Awards for FY22 Cycle

January 4, 2023 – Last week, the U.S. Department of Transportation notified Congress that they have selected nine projects to share almost $1.2 billion in “megaproject” funding through the first year’s awards of grants from the new megaprojects program established by the bipartisan infrastructure law (at 49 U.S.C. §6701).

Res. 5) that will have the effect of freezing most federal funding for the Department of Transportation at least for most of this year, if not for the next several years.
