Biden FY24 Budget Can’t Be Reconciled With House Plans

March 10, 2023 – President Biden’s proposed 2024 budget outline makes a lot of “big picture” proposals that go completely in the opposite direction that the new House Republican majority wants to go, conflict that probably won’t be reconciled until after a government shutdown showdown, or a debt ceiling showdown, or both, later this year.

March 3, 2023 – The chaotic rollout of the 5G broadband network in January 2022 was a global embarrassment for the United States. The aviation industry was fearful of potential interference that could create significant delays for passenger and freight aircraft. With safety and billions of dollars at stake, the telecommunication and aviation sectors came to an eleventh-hour compromise and the wireless technology companies agreed to temporarily halt service in 5G towers near airports and worked with the aviation stakeholders on a modified rollout.
