The National Freight Advisory Committee (NFAC or Committee) appointed by the Secretary of Transportation, includes 47members representing a wide range of private and public interests in the future of the national freight system.  Members come from all modal carriers, operators of infrastructure, units of government, labor organizations, academia and public interest groups.
