Diane Woodend Jones is a transportation industry leader and an experienced executive chairman. Diane serves as Chair of the Eno Board of Directors. She previously served on the Executive Committee as Vice Chair and has served in various roles including Board Liaison to the Board of Regents and Co-chair of the Centennial Steering Committee.   

Diane is Chairman of the Board, Executive Vice President and Principal of the international consulting firm, Lea+Elliott, Inc. She has served in leadership of the management of the operations as well as the firm’s Board of Directors for more than two decades. Diane spearheaded and currently leads the firm’s strategic planning initiatives focused on innovation, integrity and excellence.  

Diane served as a Trustee on the prestigious Mineta Transportation Institute Board for twelve years and recently received the distinctive honor of Emeritus Trustee.  Additionally, Diane served as Chair of the Board of Directors and interim CEO of the Women’s Transportation Seminar.  Throughout her career, Diane has made servant leadership a priority evidenced by her service on several academic and professional advisory boards.  

Diane received COMTO’s Women Who Move the Nation Honor, American Road and Transportation Builder’s Association’s (ARTBA) Ethel S. Birchland Lifetime Achievement Award and Dallas Business Journal Women in Business Award as recognition of her outstanding contributions to the industry. 

 

Diane began her career working for the DFW International Airport Board, and later managed a private architectural practice group prior to completing an MBA and joining Lea+Elliott, Inc.  Diane holds several professional licenses and certifications including architecture, planning and governance.
