As the Director of The Ohio State University’s Center for Aviation Studies, Dr. Seth Young’s teaching and research focuses on airport and aviation system planning, design, operations, and management. Seth is an active member of the aviation community and participates on several committees including the American Association of Airport Executives, the Florida Airports Council, and the National Academies Transportation Research Board. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering/Transportation and a Masters in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
