The Eno Center for Transportation’s Jeff Davis has recently been selected to receive the P.D. McLean Award by The Road Gang, a group of business and government executives, engineers and consultants, press and public relations specialists, company representatives, and trade association officials from the transportation industry in the Washington, D.C. area.
Named after the first chairman and a founder of The Road Gang, the P.D. McLean Award was established in 1962. Presented annually, the award commemorates the recipient’s distinct contribution to the cause of better transportation in the public interest.
The award is given out each year during The Road Gang Annual Meeting, which will take place virtually this year on Thursday, February 4 at 12pm EST.
“Eno is proud to congratulate Jeff Davis on this achievement and his outstanding service to the transportation industry,” said Eno’s President and CEO Robert Puentes.
Past winners of the P.D. McLean Award include Senators John Barrasso and Jim Inhofe, as well as Representatives Peter DeFazio and Bill Shuster. Among other transportation luminaries, The Road Gang has previously given the McLean Award to Transportation Secretary Mary Peters (Eno Board Member) in 2003, Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta (Eno Board Member Emeritus) in 1993, and Wilbur S. Smith (former Eno Board Chairman and President) in 1985.
