March 17, 2017

This week, the Eno Center for Transportation is delighted to welcome Karen Price as their new Director of Development & Strategic Partnerships.

Karen is a seasoned and energetic professional with over 15 years of experience in development and fundraising. She will manage and identify opportunities for beneficial partnerships and collaborations with similar organizations in order to further Eno’s mission to make transportation networks safer, more efficient, and more sustainable.

She will bolster Eno’s ongoing partnerships and engagement across the transportation industry, and also lead the fundraising efforts that support Eno’s execution of programs, events, and initiatives.

Karen adds, “I am thrilled to join the Eno Center for Transportation at this exciting and pivotal moment in the industry. I look forward to employing my passion for nonprofit development and enthusiasm for building interdisciplinary partnerships to advance the mission of Eno.”

Karen began her career in fundraising and development at a local domestic violence shelter. Since then, she has continued to work in the development field. From 2008 to 2010, she served as a Community and Business Development Volunteer in Albania with the Peace Corps.

She most recently worked as the Director of Development for Communities in Schools (CIS) of the Nation’s Capital, where she led fundraising efforts in support of programs that provide critical services to children in low-performing, high-risk schools.

She graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Finance and Multinational Business in 2001 and recently completed her M.A. in Nonprofit Management at North Park University.
