Capitol Hill Events – Week of June 29, 2026

The Senate will not be in session the week of June 29 or the week after.

The House is supposed to be in session the week of June 29 (with no votes on Friday, July 3 because that is the federal holiday for Independence Day this year), but once again they are having problems with getting bills to the floor and there is a chance that they will cancel floor votes for this week, which would also mean canceling committee meetings, so please check back.

Tuesday, June 30 – House Transportation and Infrastructure – Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation – subcommittee hearing on implementation of the 2025 Coast Guard reauthorization and budget reconciliation bills – 10:00 a.m., 2167 Rayburn.
