It is possible (though increasingly unlikely) that the Senate Commerce Committee markup of the draft FAA reauthorization bill, suspended subject to the call of the chair on June 15, could reconvene this week.
Wednesday, June 21 – House Transportation and Infrastructure – Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation – subcommittee hearing on Coast Guard future needs and challenges – 10:00 a.m., 2167 Rayburn.
Wednesday, June 21 – Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation – full committee hearing on the nominations of Anthony Coscia, Joel Szabat, and Christopher Koos to be Members of the Amtrak Board of Directors, and of Alvin Brown to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board – 10:00 a.m., SR-253 Russell.
Thursday, June 22 – House Energy and Commerce – Subcommittee on Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Materials – subcommittee hearing on the affordability of vehicles and fuel for highway use (witness list to be posted here) – 10:00 a.m., 21232 Rayburn.
Thursday, June 22 – Senate Appropriations – full committee business meeting to mark up draft versions of subcommittee allocations, the Military Construction/Veterans bill, and the Agriculture bill (all for FY 2024) – 10:30 a.m., SD-106 Dirksen.
