Alexander Laska works as transportation policy expert for Rep. Abby Finkenauer (D-IA). Most recently, Alex was Eno’s communications officer and assistant editor of Eno Transportation Weekly. In this role, Alex was responsible for leading Eno’s communications efforts to continue developing the organization’s thought leadership and ensure our research products are seen by key decision-making audiences.
Previously, Alex was the policy and regulatory affairs coordinator for the American Wind Energy Association, where he developed and led a new outreach program to educate city leaders on the benefits of wind energy. Alex started his career on Capitol Hill, working as a communications and legislative staffer for Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4).
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in political communication from The George Washington University and a master’s degree in public administration from The Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
