Webinar: Environmental (in)Justice During COVID-19
December 10, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm
In this webinar, we will address the harm inflicted upon minorities, low-income, rural, and tribal populations through disproportionate exposure to transportation-based elements in their environments that disparately impact health and quality of life. Veronica McBeth from Kittelson & Associates will unpack National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Title VI regulations as they relate to environmental justice, and describe the environmental justice issues brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and what we can do as transportation professionals.
Speakers: Veronica McBeth, Associate Planner, Kittelson & Associates Brianne Eby, Senior Policy Analyst, Eno Center for Transportation
