This is a PDF of three tables showing state-by-state formula funding totals under the Senate’s highway reauthorization bill:
- The first table compares FY 2020 estimated formula apportionments of FAST Act highway contract authority, by state, to the estimated FY 2021-2025 annual average formula contract authority under the Senate’s proposed ATI Act.
- The second table compares FY 2020 estimated FAST Act apportionment totals to each year of the ATI Act.
- The third table breaks down annual average funding by program.
These numbers include the existing programs that would be continued under ATI and apportioned to states under 23 U.S.C. §104 (National Highway Performance Program, Surface Transportation Block Grant Program, Transportation Alternatives, Highway Safety Improvement Program, Rail-Highway Grade Crossings, Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality, Metropolitan Planning, and National Highway Freight Program) as well as the three new formula programs that would be allocated to states based on the shares of apportioned §104 funding (Formula Safety Incentive Program, Formula Carbon Reduction Incentive Program, and Formula PROTECT Grants Program).
