Brianne Eby, a Senior Policy Analyst at Eno, is one of the four recipients of the 2020 TRB Young Members Scholarship awarded by Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) International.
The scholarship provides free admission to the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting, held virtually this year from January 21-22 and 25-29. The event will feature dozens of sessions and exhibits, with a particular focus on improving mobility and quality of life. As a scholarship recipient, Eby will attend at least 20 hours of events led by industry professionals across the public, private, and academic sectors.
“Eno is proud to have Brianne Eby recognized by YPT International,” said Robert Puentes, President and CEO of the Eno Center for Transportation. “This scholarship gives her a chance to not only further her professional development, but also share knowledge gained at TRB with the Eno team and the broader Eno audience.”
At Eno, Eby manages and conducts research on a variety of transportation policies. Recently, her research has addressed the regulatory aspects of integrating new mobility options into existing transportation services in cities, transportation’s influence on climate and the environment, best practices in congestion pricing, and transit agency governance—including the Transit Reform for Maryland, Congestion Pricing in the United States, and DC Circulator and Streetcar research reports.
“I am looking forward to attending sessions related to transportation decarbonization, the nexus between public health and transportation, and providing access to opportunity,” said Brianne Eby. “I am grateful to YPT International for the opportunity to increase my knowledge through lectures, committee meetings, and workshops at TRB.”
