Congress has nothing but pro forma sessions scheduled between now and November, except that the Senate will be in regular session on October 11 for long enough to officially take up H.R. 7900, the annual defense authorization bill, and for chairman Reed to lay down a bipartisan substitute amendment and make a speech. After that, it is pro forma sessions again through November 14.
Any Congressional hearings that were tentatively slated for the week of October 3, or the week of October 10, have been canceled.
