September 27, 2019 – The EPA this week threatened to start enforcing emissions rules that would force areas of California to cancel planned highway projects and either lose that funding or else build transit projects instead.
January 11, 2019 – This week, Virginia governor Ralph Northam announced that he and a bipartisan group of state legislators are proposing legislation to levy tolls across the 325-mile length of Interstate 81 throughout the state in order to pay for $2.2 billion in capacity and safety upgrades to the corridor.
