SUMMARY:2020 Transit Senior Executive Program Application
DESCRIPTION:Applications are now closed for the 2020 program. If you want to be the first to know about the 2021 program\, join our interest list!  \nThis 6 day course is an intensive week-long course held in the Washington\, DC metro area. All instructors are veteran transit leaders from across the industry. Participants also focus on building individual interpersonal skills in small group settings and role play a real world crisis situation. \nHOW TO APPLY  \nAll required application materials for each applicant must be posted to the Transit Senior Executive Program online application form by the end of the day\, Friday\, November 15\, 2019\, for applicants to be eligible to be considered to participate in the 2020 Transit Senior Executive Program. DESCRIPTION:Planning and integrating a zero-emissions bus fleet can be a daunting task. Good planning is integral to effectively deploying ZEBs and integrating them into an already existing system. Erik Bigelow from the Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) will highlight top three things you need to know before you start to build your ZEB fleet. \nCTE is a nonprofit whose mission is to improve the health of our climate and communities by bringing people together to develop and commercialize clean\, efficient\, and sustainable transportation technologies. Since its start in 1993\, CTE has managed a portfolio of over $530 million in team research\, development\, and demonstration projects and helped over 200 US companies move their technologies into the global energy and transportation mainstream. \nSpeakers:\nAlice Grossman\, Senior Policy Analyst\, Eno Center for Transportation\nErik Bigelow\, Senior Engineering Consultant and the Director of Midwest Operations\, Center for Transportation and the Environment (CTE) \n\nAbout the Speaker:\nErik Bigelow is a Senior Engineering Consultant and the Director of Midwest Operations at CTE. Over the last 10 years\, Erik has managed advanced transportation projects\, including battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles\, and leads CTE’s efforts in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.
